Description

This super tender and flavorful baked honey mustard chicken thighs are made with my signature Restaurant Style Honey Mustard Dressing and nothing else except a hot oven! The dressing makes for an incredible sauce that glazes over the chicken perfectly!

Restaurant Style Honey Mustard Dressing

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup whole grain or coarsely ground mustard
  • 1.5 tsp garlic (finely minced)
  • 1.5 tsp lemon juice

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs

  • 2.5 pounds Chicken Thighs (Bone in, skin on)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Restaurant Style Honey Mustard Dressing

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a jar or a bowl.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450-degrees
  2. Place the chicken thighs onto the pan and season both sides with salt and pepper.  
  3. Pour the dressing onto the chicken and place into the oven  SKIN SIDE UP for 15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes has passed, baste the chicken with the dressing that is at the bottom of the pan.  
  5. Bake until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160-degrees F or until the juices run clear.
  6. Let rest for five minutes and serve.
