Sooo for those of you who saw me on the @foodnetwork you knowI did not win. But, truly, from the bottom of my heart... I’m ok with that! Here’s why...
.
✅ when I was a little girl, my mom and I watched Food Network together... I always told her “mom I’m going to be on there one day.” My mom laughed and always said “there’s no better place for you “. This week I accomplished that goal.
.
✅my whole career all I have wanted to do was inspire people to cook and to make them laugh. And this week I did.
.
✅I wanted to cook something that I was proud of despite my lack of ingredients. This week I did that.
.
✅ I wanted the judges to compliment my food... this week they did that.
.
✅I wanted to meet new and incredible people... @chefeddiejackson, @guarnaschelli were a dream come true to meet! Badasses in their own rights! And my incredible competitors who I will forever consider lifelong friends @chefdavehadley @briannasnutritionkitchen @chef_thierry_babet ❤️❤️❤️and this week I did that.
.
✅As a woman owned and woman operated company, I wanted to go out there and show my staff that we can do this!!!!
.
💭Losing is always hard. But it is not failure. I succeeded in so many different avenues. I accomplish the goal, met incredible people, and showed everybody on national television That a young girl who immigrated to this country when she was only seven had nothing to go on except for dreams and hard work and accomplished it all! Most of all I know I have made my family proud of me and there’s nothing better than seeing the joy on my kids face as watching their mom on television and simultaneously rooting for her and being upset that she didn’t win.
.
Thank you to all of you for your incredible comments text messages and calls the love that I have felt from my support team has been incredible
.
My husband told me that success doesn’t mean you didn’t fail it means That you failed more than other people but always got back up. This girl I’m not going anywhere this is the first of many times that you will be seeing me on your TV screen always smiling and always cooking ❤️

Funny how exactly 9 years ago I was featured as the cover article on a local Russian magazine 🙈 and today... I WILL BE GOING TO MAKE MY FOOD NETWORK DEBUT NATIONALLY!

So many tell me that my success was an “overnight success”... if you consider almost 15 years of hustling and over night success then I guess they are right.
.
9 years ago I knew my goal was to reach and inspire people with my love for food and laughter. And I think I may have done it❤️

✅ delicious caprese salad with pine nuts
✅smashed potatoes with roasted garlic
✅seared waygu ribeye (thanks to @secondcityprime )
✅and an assortment of desserts with Italian cookies and truffles thanks to the incredibly kind @marinellotartufi ❤️❤️
